According to the German automobile club ADAC, those who don&rsquo;t turn on their lights during the day must pay fines of up to &euro;200.<\/p>\n<p>These are the fines in the following countries:<\/p>\n<p>Denmark &euro;70<br \/>\nFinland &euro;50<br \/>\nItaly starting at &euro;35<br \/>\nCroatia about &euro;40<br \/>\nNorway about &euro;190<br \/>\nAustria starting at &euro;15<br \/>\nPoland about &euro;52<br \/>\nRussia up to about &euro;200<br \/>\nSweden about &euro;55<br \/>\nSlovakia about &euro;54<br \/>\nSlovenia about &euro;40<br \/>\nCzech Republic about &euro;18<br \/>\nHungary about &euro;40<\/p>\n<p>Since driving with lights on in Bulgaria, France, Switzerland and Germany is only recommended, drivers don&rsquo;t have to pay fines. In 17 European countries the light regulation applies on all streets, but in Italy, Russia and Hungary it is only valid on highways and on streets out of town.
