The Tourist Information Office of Kaiserslautern offers a variety of guided tours on a regular basis. Groups for guided tours must consist of a minimum of 5 persons. Tours by bus, foot or bike are available.

Sightseeing Tour by Bus
Informs participants about interesting facts on Kaiserslautern.
After visiting the Casimirsaal in former Casimir Palace and the underground passages from the 12th century, each tour guest receives a heraldic glass with Palatinate wine or juice. The bus tours the center of town and its recreation areas in the outskirts, and passes by PRE-Park, the university and soccer stadium.
Duration: 2.5 hours
Costs: 5 Euros (adults); 3 Euros (students)

Historical Guided Walk
After exploring Casimirsaal and the underground passages the group walks over to Stiftskirche from the 13th century and proceeds to the historical part of town (Altstadt). Proceed to Theodor-Zink Museum and Kaiser (Emperor’s) Fountain.
Duration: 2 hours
Costs: 4 Euros (adults); 2.50 Euros (students)

Historical Gastro Tour
Visit to Villa Munziger, Jewish Bath and Fruchthalle (former fruit market hall; now concert hall). Stops at three local pubs and restaurants to discuss history while drinking and eating.
Duration: 3 hours
Costs: 15 Euros (includes wine, beverages and snacks)

Sculptures, Architecture and Palatinate Painters
Tour starts at Rathaus (City Hall). Proceed to Pfalzgalerie where important Palatinate paintings are displayed.
Duration: 2 hours
Costs: 5 Euros (adults); 3.50 Euros (students)

Fountain Tour
A variety of fountains will be shown.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Costs: 4 Euros (adults); 2.50 Euros (students)

Tour of Historic Churches
Facts and history of churches in and around Kaiserslautern including visits to Stiftskirche, Sankt Martin’s Church, Klosterkirche (Enkenbach), Abbey Church (Otterberg)
Duration 3.5 hours
Costs: 8 Euros (adults); 6 Euros (students)

Tour on the Track of Champions
Soccer-oriented tour to Fritz-Walter soccer stadium (FIFA World Cup location 2006). Proceed to place of birth (Enkenbach) of Fritz Walter, one of Germany’s most famous soccer players, where a glass of sparkling wine is offered. Proceed to gravesite of Fritz Walter.
Duration: 10 Euros
Costs: 10 Euros (adults); 8 Euros (students)

Bicycle Tours
Offered in cooperation with ADFC bicycle club. Safe Bikes required.
